Multi Radiance Medical (MRM) has a product called MR4 ACTIV Cordless Super Pulsed Laser. Let’s refer to it simply as MR4 ACTIV. We’ll be taking a closer look at this device to find out why it’s an innovative solution for a chiropractor in Massillon, Ohio, as well as the whole industry.
The MR4 ACTIV is a device used for cold laser therapy. The main characteristic of this device is its versatility. It is portable and easy to use, making it a convenient and comfortable tool that anyone can use—amateur and professional athletes, and everyone in between. It also enables cold laser to be used in several settings, whether in the training room, in the field, or even on the road.
The device is really something handy to have for athletes during their training or game events, so they can get pain relief right where and when they need it. Being cordless, the device can be brought for pre and post-game travel. This is not limited for the use of athletes. Anyone who needs cold laser therapy will also find this device useful.
Cold laser therapy has been in use to treat arthritis pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, knee pain, neck pain, back pain, Fibromyalgia pain, and tendonitis, among others. We are already familiar with how laser therapy works and the same workings are used in the MR4 ACTIV. Using different wavelengths of light, it stimulates tissues to provide relief for pain, spasms, and swelling.
The MR4 ACTIV is able to emit the same three wavelengths of light that is found in the console version: 660 nm, 875 nm, and 905 nm. It provides temporary relief for chronic or acute pain, reduces muscle spasms, enhances healing, reduces stiffness, and increases microcirculation. It also works for Super Pulsed deep tissue treatment (25,000 mW).
Other features of the MR4 ACTIV are six treatment modes, 8-hour power on its rechargeable battery, and half-power setting (ideal for pediatric and geriatric patients).
