Mandi served five years in the US Army, stationed in Fort Irwin, CA where she was a Light Wheel Vehicle Mechanic. She then attended the University of Akron where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training. While at the University of Akron, she interned with the women’s basketball, soccer, softball and baseball teams. Upon graduation she worked for Massillon City Schools as an assistant Athletic Trainer. She is currently assistant Athletic Trainer at Glenoak High School where she covers games for the boys and girls soccer teams in the fall, girls basketball in the winter, boys lacrosse and baseball in the spring, as well as cross country, wrestling, and track events throughout the school year.
Mandi’s favorite part of her job is seeing athletes in the high school setting recover from injuries and return to play their sport. In the clinical setting, she enjoys seeing her patients improve their range of motion and become more pain-free.
