Dr. Brent A. Ungar is a chiropractic physician with more than 40 years of clinical experience serving patients in the Canton, Ohio area. He graduated from the National College of Chiropractic in 1986 and is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (C.C.S.P.). He has held chiropractic licenses in Ohio, Wisconsin, and Colorado.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ungar has developed extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, sports-related injuries, spinal disorders, and functional rehabilitation. His clinical approach combines chiropractic care with advanced technologies and treatment strategies designed to help patients improve function, mobility, and quality of life.

Dr. Ungar has also completed specialized training in Low-Speed Accident Reconstruction through the Spine Research Institute of San Diego in cooperation with Texas A&M University, providing him with additional education in the biomechanics and injury mechanisms associated with motor vehicle collisions.

Leadership in Laser Therapy & Photobiomodulation

Dr. Ungar has been actively involved in the advancement and clinical implementation of therapeutic laser and photobiomodulation (PBM). He previously served as Vice Chairman of Medical and Business Development for Multi Radiance Medical (MRM) and has been named to the company's Medical Advisory Board.

Through his work with Multi Radiance Medical, Dr. Ungar has helped chiropractic, medical, and physical therapy practices develop clinical and practice-management procedures for effectively incorporating laser therapy into patient care.

He has also worked with chiropractic colleges and healthcare professionals to help develop educational curricula, clinical protocols, and practical applications for advanced laser and electrotherapy technologies.

Educator, Consultant & Practice Leader

In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Ungar has spent much of his professional career educating and mentoring other healthcare professionals. For more than 18 years, he worked as an independent multidisciplinary consultant and previously served as a Senior Coach for Breakthrough Coaching.

For approximately 15 years, Dr. Ungar has lectured for state chiropractic associations, professional organizations, and consulting groups on topics including clinical care, laser therapy, he lectures internationally on current laser research, practice management, and professional development.

After more than four decades in practice, Dr. Ungar remains committed to advancing conservative musculoskeletal healthcare while incorporating new technologies and evidence-informed approaches that can help patients remain active, functional, and engaged in the activities that matter most to them.
