Dogwood Park is another park in North Canton where plenty of activities occur. The park is named after the flowering trees that mark its grounds, it comprises facilities such as a basketball court, horseshoe pits, picnic shelter, picnic table, rental hall, and wooded areas, including walking paths and an impressive play area. The park also has restrooms for visitors to use during their stay.
The shelter is an indoor hall for gatherings, meetings, and special events. Events such as bridal showers, family reunions, baby showers, and graduation parties can also be held here. The Dogwood Shelter can accommodate 160 guests and features a full kitchen, a non functioning fireplace, rectangular tables around 12-8 feet in length, and 72 chairs located on all sides of the facility. There is also an outdoor cement pad with a picnic table and grill perfect for weekend barbecues or birthday parties.
The facility can be rented in half or entirety for a whole-day reservation from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm. The rental pricing for half of the facility is $245 per day, while $395 is the cost for the entire facility rental for the given time.

In the spring of 2022, the Dogwood Adaptive Playground was opened to the public. This newly constructed playground has a total area of 12,500 sq. ft. and is fenced for security and safety. The playground has a turf surface and features adaptive play equipment. This equipment is ideal for children with or without disabilities and can cater to wheelchairs and other mobility devices.
The Dogwood Playground provides play opportunities for children of all ages and stages. It offers toddler playground equipment, ziplines, rock climbing walls, covered platforms, and a wide array of climbing structures with different functionalities. The playground is not exclusive to those who reserved the indoor shelter but can be used by those renting the facility.
The Dogwood Swimming Pool is a facility located across Dogwood Park and managed by the North Canton YMCA. The pool features 15,000 square feet of water with water slides and a diving well. The pool also offers a pool park with water sprays, dumping buckets, palm trees, and spray arches for children eight years old and under. The main pool has a 3-foot depth walk-in area that goes straight to the standard 5-feet deep pool, including 50-yard lap lanes. Older children can also enjoy the slides in the swimming pool facility. There are also two diving boards at Dogwood Pool. The first one has a height of 4 feet and the second one has a height of 12 feet. They exit into a diving well with a secure bottom to give non-fearful divers a safe practice.
For visitors needing a break from the sunlight, the grounds of the Dogwood swimming pool are also surrounded by oak trees and stand-alone umbrellas scattered all around the swimming pool area.
A concession stand called “Life Preserve” within the pool offers a variety of snacks. Visitors can satisfy themselves with pizzas, pretzels, hot dogs, sodas, and nachos with cheese while enjoying their stay.
